Before-and-after photography for beauty centres in Tenerife
Before-and-after is the content that sells best in the beauty sector and, at the same time, the content that gets done worst: one photo under fluorescent light and the other by a window, different framing, a filter somewhere in between. The result convinces nobody and, if it exaggerates, it is misleading advertising. We set up a system so those photos are comparable, honest and publishable.
Why it matters
A credible comparison depends on only one thing changing: the result of the treatment. Everything else — light, background, distance, angle, framing, posture — has to be identical in both shots. You don’t get that by improvising with a phone in the treatment room: you get it with a fixed capture point, marks on the floor and a protocol anyone on the team can follow.
We set that point up at your centre and leave it running: we choose the corner, the lighting, the standard framings per treatment type and how images get filed. We hand over a practical guide and train the team, so before-and-after stops depending on whether the person who’s good with a camera happened to be in that day.
The legal side is built into the protocol, not bolted on: explicit written consent before publishing, stating which channels the image will be used on and for how long, and the right to withdraw it. Plus one rule we don’t negotiate: retouching must not alter the result of the treatment. You can correct colour and clean the image; you cannot slim a silhouette or erase what the treatment didn’t erase.
- Actually comparable. Same light, same framing, same distance: the difference shows because it’s real.
- With consent. A written circuit before anything gets published.
- Your team takes them. We leave the protocol set up so you can shoot every day.

Frequently asked questions
Can we publish a client’s photos without asking?
No. You need their explicit written consent, stating which channels the image will be used on and for how long. The consent template is included.
Can you retouch the “after” so the change shows more?
No. We correct colour and clean the image, but we don’t alter the result of the treatment: that is misleading advertising and people can tell.
Do we have to buy photographic equipment from you?
Not necessarily. We build the system with what you have if the quality is sufficient; if something is missing, we tell you exactly what and why.
Do you take the photos or do we?
You do: the whole point is that they can be taken any day. We set the system up and train the team.
